The red wine I Sodi di San Niccolò Toscana IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Castellare di Castellina has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Shiny, intense ruby. Opens on the nose with lots of crunchy berry fruit of blackberry and mulberry, subtle spicy notes in the background. On the palate very precise, lots of juicy fruit, above all blackberry, unfolds with much fine-meshed tannin, very elegant and long, on the finish dark chocolate.
