The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Castell'in Villa has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby. Appealing nose with notes of liquorice, then lots of ripe cherry and plum. The palate has notes of ripe plum fruit, opens with grippy, vivid tannins, shows rich drive, liquorice and honey on the finish.
