The red wine Vigna il Corno Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, vintage 2014 from the winery Castello di Radda has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
This has a bright, gleaming ruby red colour with a slightly opaque rim. It has intense aromas of ripe blackberry and cassis, as well as varnish and shoe polish. On the palate it is supple and well balanced, and with support from the elegant use of oak it has a strong red fruit flavour. There is a good drive and it has some saltiness on the finish.
