The red wine Tornus Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2023 from the winery Castello di Tornano has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour with a subtly brightening rim. Nuances of precious wood, violets and ripe cherries on the nose, with subtle hints of café au lait. Very well-balanced on the palate, with a modern pedigree, it drinks exceptionally well, finishing pleasantly juicy.
