The red wine Millecento 1100 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Castiglion del Bosco has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby red with brightening on the rim. Playful aromas, with lots of currants and plums, followed by violets and lavender as well as notes of tangerine and strawberries. Juicy and harmonious on the palate, builds beautifully, with ripe tannins, dancing acidity and a lingering, salty finish. Very elegant and very animating.
