Ripe in colour, dried fig but also an ethereal Syrah spiciness with raisin notes. Emphatically viscous on the palate, it has a creamy richness with mild tannins, a seamlessly integrated acidity and plenty of juiciness on the finish despite the creamy mid-palate. A bold, full-bodied wine that nonetheless maintains a good balance. On the finish aromatically it is not unlike a Côte-Rôtie.
