Tasting Notes

92 - 94
Tasting from 26.05.2011

Deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core and purple reflections. It's rather restrained on the nose, with wild berry jam, a hint of precious wood, orange zest and a pleasant nougat note. The palate is full-bodied, with ripe tannins and a subtle bitter chocolate note in the finish. It's still a little restrained but shows very good length of ripe cherry fruit and lemony nuances. A slow developer with certain ageing potential.
