Tasting from 26.05.2020: Ulrich Sautter

A dark rosé colour; bright vermilion. The fragrance offers cherry with mineral and herbaceous overtones. Smooth and broad on the palate, in view of the mild acidity, mealy tannins gives structure. Beautiful, clean palate fruit, unadorned with extract-driven sweetness. Strong but integrated alcohol. Finishes pointedly chalky-mineral. Completely its own, and especially recommended at the table.
