Dark ruby garnet in colour with purple reflections and a touch of edge brightening. Fine herbal spice on the nose with a hint of wood and ripe heart cherries, underlaid subtly by cassis and tobacco nuances and candied orange zest in the background. Complex and tightly woven on the palate, it's freshly structured with a core of black forest berries and vivid, integrated tannins leading to a salty-mineral finish. Good ageing potential.
