The red wine Morgon Côte du Py, vintage 2014 from the winery Château des Jacques has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tintorera from the region Morgon in France.
Very mineral on the nose, smoky, ash, sweet cherry, somewhat grainy on the palate, powerful, but also a little woody, with freshness and nerve (but without harshness or aggression). Noble astringency, pointedly full-bodied and even salty, but little length at present, which should change with bottle ageing.
