Tasting from 20.03.2015

100% Clairette, vinified by Emmanuel Reynaud (Château Rayas). Aromas of salted liquorice, wormwood, used wood and almond. Extremely viscous and supple on the palate, almost sweet due to the subtle acidity, but also with a distinctive, generous bitterness and a balance through phenolics. A disarmingly authentic white wine: baroque and unruly.
