The red wine Château Fougas »Maldoror«, vintage 2002 from the winery Château Fougas has been rated in 2005 with Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Côtes de Bourg in France.
Deep ruby garnet, delicate rim brightening, violet, youthful reflections, restrained dark berry notes on the nose, some tar, smoke, full-bodied, elegant, round and sweet on the palate, very complex, has length, the tannins are not prominent, already well developed, has a broad aromatic range, easy to drink. Fine spicy note on the finish.
