Tasting from 14.02.2021: Peter Moser

Dark ruby , purple reflections, subtle watery rim. A hint of leather, black berry fruit, soft notes of liquorice, tobacco and notes of cedar wood. Medium body, ripe cherries, firm tannins that still need their time, some nougat on the finish, a spicy food wine. (2025-2040).

Deep dark ruby with an opaque core and purple reflections, subtly brighter at the edge. Delicate oak savouriness, a hint of nougat and blackberry fruit underpinned by an attractive nose. Juicy, medium-bodied palate with ripe cherry, vivid tannins, some caramel on the finish and a mineral aftertaste. Somewhat demanding on the finish.
