The red wine Les Contreforts de Montmirail Baumes de Venise AOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Château La Croix des Pins has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah from the region Gigondas in France.
Milk chocolate, red currant jelly, blackberry juice. Silky palate with good volume, but without alcohol emphasis: juice and acidity keep the structure under tension, a sweet palate fruit and herbal-spicy notes give the wine a long and intense finish. And above all, a mineral tint. Organic.
