The red wine La Clape AOP L'Ancely, vintage 2016 from the winery Château la Négly has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Mourvèdre, Grenache from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Dark ruby, violet tints, delicate bright rim. Inviting dark berry fruit, delicate nougat, fresh plums and blackberry jam, a hint of cedar in the background. Juicy, complex, tight-knit, ripe supporting tannins, chocolatey finish, very good length, stands at the beginning of a long career, already drinking well.
