Tasting from 14.02.2021: Peter Moser

Dark ruby garnet with an opaque core, purple reflections and a touch of rim brightening. Fine spice and nougat notes of precious wood on the nose, along with ripe black cherries, a hint of cassis and some candied orange zest. Complex and full-bodied, on the palate with a core of blackberry jam and supporting tannins that build towards the mineral finish. Will benefit from bottle ageing.

More about the tasting

Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Delicate smoke layered under black berry fruit, fresh cherries and a hint of liquorice, some nougat underneath. Juicy, complex, ripe cherries, vivid tannins, which are well integrated, salty touch on the finish, pronounced fruit ending, good ageing potential.
