Deep dark ruby, opaque core, discreet brightening on the rim. Ripe plum on the nose with cassis, a hint of dried fruit, dark nougat and savoury notes. Powerful, wood-dominated texture, sweet fruit underneath, firm tannins, chocolaty and dense with mocha on the finish. Clearly marked by a high proportion of Cabernet. Vin de Garde.
