Tasting Notes
Dark ruby in colour with an opaque core, purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, a multi-faceted bouquet of ripe dark fruits of the forest, a hint of fine oak, delicate strawberry and some nougat. The palate is powerful and finely structured with pronounced integrated tannins, ripe dark fruits of the forest and cherry fruit, mineral, with ripe fruits of the forest on the long, saline finish. Despite its compactness it also seems somewhat light-footed, already drinkable, with definite ageing potential. (1/25, +40, PM).
