Deep ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Ripe cassis, black cherries, Cabernet bouquet, fine herbal savouriness in the underlay. Good complexity, dark berries, nougat, firm, supporting tannins, toasty aromas on the finish, has length and certain ageing potential.
