Tasting Notes
Dark ruby-garnet with purple reflections and a hint of brightening at the rim. A complex nose of honey and cherry fruit, pickled cherries and candied orange zest alongside a touch of herbal spice. Juicy on the palate, with a core of sweet fruit that brings opulent texture and supported by fine, silky tannins. Plenty of stuffing, it's persistent and with a pleasant acid structure in the background for support. Shows length and certain ageing potential. Taken in context of the vintage, this is particularly successful.

More about the tastingDark, dense ruby garnet. Concentrated ripe fruit, dark berries, some jam and toffee. More stature on the palate than last year, somewhat plump, densely structured. Velvety tannins, clear finish.
