Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, discreet brightening on the rim. Tobacco backed wood savouriness on the nose, delicate liquorice and black cherry, a mineral touch with some peppermint on the background. Complex, juicy and fruity, ripe plum, distinctive tannins that still need some time with dark nougat and minerality on the finish. Will certainly benefit from further bottle ageing.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby, with purple reflections, and a subtle bright rim. There is a delicate savoury underlay, with black wild berry, candied orange zest, and a hint of fig. Juicy and powerful on the palate, with chocolaty notes, nougat, ripe tannins, and persistence, and with some honey on the finish. It has good development potential, and it is an opulent style.
