The red wine Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery La Lastra has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero from the region Chianti in Italy.
Sour cherry, red berries, rose hip, dried herbs and wood savouriness on the nose. Fresh, juicy on the palate, noticeable, ripe tannin, well-integrated, lively acidity, red fruits. A lovely table wine with pasta Bolognese or to open the barbecue season with a hearty grilled sausage, e.g. Salsiccia finocchio.
