The red wine Anima, vintage 2013 from the winery Chiericati has been rated in 2021 by Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach und Ursula Geiger with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Canton of Ticino in Switzerland.
Concentrated fruit aromas on the nose with notes of fresh wild berries, plum and sour cherry. There are also spicy hints of bay leaf, cinnamon and a hint of caramel as well as nutty notes. Juicy acidity on the palate, fine-grained tannins and aromas of sour cherry, dried chokeberry and dried plum as well as spices. Long finish with ripe dark berry fruit and spice notes.
