The red wine Barolo DOCG Roncaglie, vintage 2019 from the winery Chionetti has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour with a garnet rim. Very delicate and fruity aromas of raspberries, cranberries and forest fruits on the nose, with undergrowth notes and violet aromas in the background. Polished on the palate, with plenty of freshness and juiciness, accompanied by grippy tannins, which unfortunately have a somewhat drying effect on the finish.
