Dark ruby garnet with purple reflections and a touch of edge brightening. Ripe plums, candied orange zest and some nougat are underlaid on the nose by black forest berries. The complex palate majors on juicy cherries and blackberries with firm, integrated tannins. It shows good freshness and length, and will benefit from bottle ageing.
