The red wine Baracija, vintage 2022 from the winery Clai has been rated in 2026 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Refosco from the region Istria in Croatia.
Bright ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, subtle edge brightening. Nuance of fresh Amarena cherries, some sour cherries, candied orange zest, some nougat. Juicy, delicate extract sweetness, fine tannins, mineral and well adhering, fine red berry touch, lemony aftertaste, a multi-faceted companion at the table.
