Strong ruby, purple reflections, broader ochre lightening on the rim. Delicate nougat, fresh ripe plum fruit, a hint of liquorice and fine herbal savouriness in the background. Substantial, powerful palate with sweet fruit, fine, ripe tannins and some vanilla and caramel on the finish. Already accessible and will benefit from further bottle ageing.
