The red wine Grande Cuvée, vintage 2017 from the winery Collegium Wirtemberg has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Lots of ripe fruit and wood spice on the nose with cloves, ripe forest fruits, some plums, cassis and dark chocolate. Shows the substance and dignity that you would expect from a "Grand Réserve". Dense on the palate, with a strong, ripe tannin structure. Lingers on the palate for a long time.
