Medium ruby red in colour with purple reflections. On the nose, spicy, vegetal aromas of under-ripe cherry, kitchen herbs, ivy, green bell pepper, and a hint of currant on the finish. The palate is very austere with drying tannins, little fruit, and obtrusive acidity.
