The red wine Liranu Negroamaro Riserva Leverano DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Conti Zecca has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Negroamaro from the region Puglia in Italy.
Dark garnet red. The nose is very wood-spice heavy, notes of butter and malty, roasted hazelnut, followed by brioche with secondary notes of dark berry and cherry compote. The palate opens with gripping tannin and a fine acidity, good freshness, fans out nicely on the palate, dark berry core, with salinity and a touch dry on the finish.
