Dark ruby, almost opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Ripe cherry, nuances of blueberry, pleasant wood spice, fine tobacco nuances, some nougat and suede. Taut, sweet ripe fruit, firm supporting tannins, fine acidity, well integrated fine oak, very harmonious, almost opulent on the finish, certain potential - Tim Mondavi's masterpiece.
