The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Contrada Palui has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Clear nose with very well-defined fruit of raspberry, fresh dark cherry, plum and some dark chocolate. Lots of juicy fruit on the palate, fills out the palate very well, fine-meshed tannins, grippy in the finish and with slightly earthy tones.
