Bright ruby red, sparkling. Opens on the nose on sweet spices, cloves, cinnamon, rich cherry, some undergrowth, cranberries, smoky. Shows clear fruit on the palate, pithy, juicy, with tightly woven tannins, exciting aromas of freshly ground almonds, full-bodied pressure with good length.
