Tasting from 19.02.2019: Ulrich Sautter

It has a medium cherry red colour, with delicate ochre reflections, and a broad bright rim. There is a discreet floral underlay of ripe berry fruit, along with nuances of mint, ethereal nuances, and a hint of spice. It has a lean palate, with red berry fruit, some cardamom, vivid tannins that lend good freshness, some minerality and persistence, pronounced fruit on the finish, and some nougat and lemon on the back palate. It is an exciting style of wine.
