Deep ruby-garnet color, with a lighter rim. An intense bouquet of black berries, dried herbs, vanilla, chocolate, and caramel. Exceptionally powerful and full-bodied, with notes of blackberries, cassis, and sweet fruit pulp; firm, well-integrated tannins; a mineral-driven finish; nougat on the finish; a mighty BBQ wine. (Falstaff Favorite)
