Tasting from 09.07.2019: Ulrich Sautter

Marsanne planted in 1924 at the foot of the slope has produced a very herbaceous and spicy bouquet, also showing mineral, pepper, granite and, with a little time in the glass, apricot notes. On the palate it is creamy, full, balancing acidity, viscous, layered, dense, very mineral, quite concentrated on the palate fruit with only the merest hint of oak influence. Already accessible it has a great future for further development ahead of it.
