The red wine Ultra, vintage 2015 from the winery Die Schwertführerinnen has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Thermenregion in Austria.
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, a delicate bright rim. On the nose there are lovely fine oak nuances, as well as a touch of vanilla and caramel, and ripe dark berry confit underneath. It is juicy, spicy, with black cherry, toasty flavours on the finish, and some toffee on the back palate.
