Tasting from 23.03.2022: Ulrich Sautter

A scent of cherry stone and sweet almond, and the herbal savouriness of conifer on the nose. In the mouth the wine has drive thanks to a backbone of fine-grained, sandy tannins that build from the mid-palate onwards. An elegant juiciness dominates, with the mild acidity typical of the vintage taking a backseat, and beautiful fruit shows on the finish. An accessible wine, endowed with the finesse expected of its source.
