Tasting Notes
Strong ruby garnet, delicate watery rim, brighter at the edge. Very individual notes of eucalyptus and tobacco on the nose, very leafy, but also notes of cooked fruit and dried fruit. Round and opulent on the palate, delicately peppery, good balance, has powerful tannins, already balanced, remains persistent, has a lot of power, needs a few more years in the bottle to gain elegance. The majority of the Grand Jury tasters clearly rejected this wine, which caused it to plummet in the overall ranking.
