Strong, dense red; dominant roasted aromas on the nose, liquorice, sooty, resin, black-fruity notes behind it; full attack, prominent, furry tannins, noticeable wood influence, juicy acidity; still dries slightly on the finish. Ambitious wine, but somewhat too strongly influenced by the wood.
