Tasting Notes
The nose evokes a small, black, wild cherry. This is followed by a touch of flint and an evocation of wet stone. The fine tannins have their density and elegance, accentuated by the finest, brightest freshness. It is this freshness of 2016 that shows the bare bones and utter grace of this wine's lovely structure. There is nothing to hide behind. This is the poised skeleton of Romanée Saint Vivant. Wow.
