Tasting Notes

93+
Tasting from 29.10.2020: Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach

A touch volatile on the nose, with time opens to notes of Kirsch, wild plums and rum pot. A rich dose of fine-grained tannins, oily texture and ripe acidity dominate the palate. Offers a grippy extracted richness with a highly impressive interweaving of substance and viscosity, but unfortunately the fruit remains somewhat muted. Given time, this wine will undoubtedly offer a lot of joy.
