Ripe black cherry, sloe liqueur, lots of juiciness in the mouth, fine-grained tannin, high acidity counteracts the rich body, extract-rich mid-palate, chewy but not massive, a fine and quite clear berry fruit leads into the long finish. Rich in substance and well balanced.
