The white wine Montagny 1er Cru »Les Jardins«, vintage 2018 from the winery Domaine Didier Charton-Vachet has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
Restrained aromas on the quite floral nose: Linden blossom, mint and a hint of wood to the fore. Juicy on the palate, with a slender approach and yet undoubted presence thanks to fine phenolics, ripe acidity and skillfully restrained use of wood. Rhe structure, which is build for elegance, creates good drinking flow over a slightly mineral underpinning.
