Tasting from 23.03.2022: Ulrich Sautter

Smoky new wood and mocha notes are currently very dominant on the nose, with red currant and herbal notes emerging after a lot of aeration. The wine is linear on the palate, full-bodied with medium density juicy fruit and a ripe acidity. There's a somewhat softer base that is typical of the vintage, but still with a supporting structure that promises a good maturation process. Juicy freshness shows on the finish.
