Directly adjacent to La Tâche. Initial savouriness with notes of fruit cake, dark toast barrel, clove, milk chocolate, but also bark mulch and pine conifer. On the palate as if from a single mold: rapidly increasing intensity that remains at the same level for a long time; acidity, firm, ripe tannins and tactile mineral perceptions are closely interwoven, long, intense and evoking a great ageing potential. Immensely mineral, almost electrifying on the finish. Will need to mature for a very long time.
