Strong ruby garnet, delicate watery rim, brighter around the edges. Ripe, leafy, dark berry fruit on the nose, delicate dried fruit notes, some blackberry jam and violets. Somewhat bulky tannins on the palate, a little dry, some strawberry jam, medium length, lacks a little concentration on the finish, appears a little rustic.
