Tasting Notes

Tasting from 20.04.2018: Peter Moser

This has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, with a broad bright rim. On the nose there are hints of cassis and blackberry, along with tobacco undertones, earthy nuances, and some liquorice. It is powerful, with a vivid varietal character, integrated supporting tannins, some nougat, and a mineral aftertaste. It is already well developed, is a versatile food wine, and is an inexpensive alternative to a Cru Bourgeois from the Médoc.
