Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre brightening on the rim. Savoury oak aromas, dark minerality, black cherries, dark fruits of the forest, some red berry and a delicate underlying floral component. Medium bodied and taut with a very lively structure, vivid ripe tannins, mineral and cherry on the finish. Still seems very youthful, will benefit from further bottle ageing.
