The red wine Châteuaneuf-du-Pape AOC Cuvée de mon Aïeul, vintage 2010 from the winery Domaine Pierre Usseglio has been rated in 2013 with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grenache from the region Châteauneuf-du-Pape in France.
Strong ruby, purple reflections, broad watery rim. Delicate floral notes of fully ripe heart cherry, a hint of herbal savouriness, delicate orange zest, a multi-faceted bouquet. Full-bodied, pronounced in fruit cherry fruit on the palate, elegant texture, silky tannins, remains very good, wonderfully balanced and delicate, as if from a single mould, already very seductive, but has the best conditions for ageing, wonderful sweetness in the aftertaste, lingers for minutes.
